It was a fun weekend. Saturday was the Great MOMS Walk. Short walk, but lots of fun at the end, especially for older kids. Emily really enjoyed the swings!

We ate our lunch in the park and made it a true picnic. Sandwiches, chips, fruit...what more could you ask for? I mentioned to my sister we'd had a picnic for lunch and that we were having cheeseburgers for dinner. She said it's just a picnic day. So, we had a floor picnic for dinner! What fun!!

On another note, what do you get a one-year-old for her birthday? I mean, it's not like she NEEDS anything!

You're right. What does a 1 year old need? Or a 2 year old? We got Jenna a wagon which she loves. She also got a Playskool Busy Basics Busy Ball Popper that she still loves today. You have to love a toy that is still fun after a year! She also got a battery powered bubble gun that is great - saves my lungs. A pool would be fun for summer. Books and clothes are always great, too!
